Psychology Intern

Personal Statement:
I have heard such wonderful things about Aggieland and am so happy to be a part of the diverse A&M community for the next year! I enjoy working with students as they transition through this critical period in their lives. The college years are such a crucial time for learning and self-definition and I am grateful for the opportunity to help people make these important discoveries about themselves and the world. What an honor it is to be a part of this journey! When working with students, I direct a lot of energy toward creating a safe environment for exploration and I take a collaborative approach to problem solving. My goal is to help students better understand their relationships and emotional reactions and build the skills necessary to manage the various hardships they may encounter in their lives. It is also important that I get to know students' strengths, hopes and dreams as well as I know their problems. On a more personal note, I am a curious and energetic individual who is passionate about psychology and life in general. My hobbies include artistic pursuits, football games, and just about anything in nature, especially traveling to explore new, beautiful places with family and friends.
