Ted Stachowiak
A major part of my responsibilities is the development and administration of psychological and
psychiatric services. This presents a continual challenge to be responsive to changing student needs,
changing staff competencies, and political, legal, and social changes that affect the provision of
psychological and psychiatric services. Woven into these is also the challenge to development and
sustain a work environment in which staff grow professionally and personally, and affirm their unique
competencies.
Working directly with students as they develop emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually, and
progress toward their educational goals is one of my most rewarding professional functions. I also have
a strong commitment to assist psychologists in their professional development through supervision and,
as their careers progress, through attaining Board Certification from the American Board of Professional
Psychology.
