Teresa Blevins

Pre-Doctoral Psychology Intern

Personal Statement:
I am thrilled to be doing my internship at Texas A & M! This is a unique and welcoming place to finish up my training with an exciting group of students. Being in college brings with it a host of new adventures and struggles as students learn how to navigate life on their own, balance multiple activities and roles, think about the future, and get exposed to new ways of thinking , doing, and living. I enjoy working with students as they build on their strengths and discover the things about themselves and their lives that they would like to be different-and then find the courage to change them. I value the time spent working with students in self exploration and finding tools that work for them to cope, de-stress, and achieve their goals. I get excited about diversity of all sorts and appreciate the individuality that comes with being a person. When I am not at work, I enjoy most kinds of music (especially live), traveling (especially to mountains and water), playing outside (especially if it's sunny), reading books (especially if they make me laugh), and having new experiences.
