Psychologist IV, Coordinator of Disabled Student Counseling Services

Personal Statement:
As a psychologist, I enjoy the practice of psychotherapy where I work with students using an existential approach. I am particularly interested in working with abuse survivors. In addition to enjoying therapy, I am committed to training and supervising psychology interns and practicum students. I am most energized by utilizing an experiential approach to training and supervision. On a personal note, I have a thirteen-year-old son and an energetic wife who do a good job of keeping me busy and mostly out of trouble.

Areas of Special Interest:
Computer applications as they relate to counseling psychology; consultation regarding students with disabilities; individual, couple, and group psychotherapy; and family systems supervision and training.


Theoretical Orientation:
Eclectic, with an emphasis on family of origin, psychodynamic and existential therapies.
