Professional Counselor II

Personal Statement:
My professional interests include working with college students as they navigate university life. My model of therapy is student centered and I strive to meet each student where they are on their personal journey. I focus on treating the whole person and am constantly challenged and intrigued by the art of therapy. My primary area of focus is academic and career counseling and I find it incredibly rewarding to help students find success in the classroom. Addressing academic and career concerns can sometimes raise other issues for students including depression, anxiety, relationship problems, stress management or family conflict. I am also very interested in outreach opportunities and love meeting with student organizations to provide informational programming. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family at home. I also enjoy gardening, running, playing at the park with my children, and snow skiing.
