Carlos D. Orozco
My professional and research interests are in the areas of multicultural counseling and assessment, psychosocial
cultural adjustment, anxiety and depression. I welcome every opportunity to work with practicum counselors or
psychology interns. I integrate different counseling techniques within a brief therapy model including
interpersonal, cognitive-behavioral, existential, and multicultural counseling approaches. On a personal note, I
am a family oriented individual and enjoy spending leisure time with my spouse and three kids. I am fluent in
Spanish and enjoy working with Latin American students who request a Spanish-speaking counselor.
