Practicum Counselor, Supervised by Sandra Olshak, M.S.W.

Personal Statement:
I am truly excited to have the opportunity to serve the Texas A&M community as a practicum counselor. College is both an exciting and challenging experience, presenting students with unique changes in autonomy, social environments, and responsibility. My goal as a counselor is to accompany my clients through the challenges that they face during this journey. As a person and psychologist in training, I believe in the importance of connection, and I value working to help others know that they matter. In my work with clients, I hope to create a safe and supportive environment in which the client and I collaborate to creatively address concerns. I deeply value forming an authentic connection with clients, and I seek to empower students through self-awareness and self-compassion. In my free time, I love spending time with my family and friends, playing with my dog Stitch, and traveling to my home state of Louisiana.
